The second edition of MDLBeast Soundstorm 2021 saw more than 579.000 visitors in 4 days, rising it to the top of the most-attended music festivals worldwide. Throughout the 4 days, Soundstorm 21 hosted a spectacular line-up of musicians and DJ’s on 8 stages including the Guinness World Record breaking Big Beast stage. Among international artists like David Guetta, Tiesto, Martin Garrix, Future and Steve Aoki, local talent and beloved Arab stars as Amr Diab, Balqees Fathi and Tamer Hosny were paid tribute.
In addition to the Big Beast Stage, the Soundstorm 2021 festival featured a closed Supadome Venue called Dance Beast and an Underground Area, which catered to those who prefer music that is a little less mainstream.
In order to enhance visitor experience and achieve a more sustainable approach for 2021 and the coming years, the festival organizer MDL Beast put an enormous effort in preparing the site and creating a permanent infrastructure for the annual festival.
Special Projects Europe Ltd. on behalf of Production Glue, the American Production Company brought in a team of international experts to supervise and manage construction and set up of the Site. The infrastructure package included parking areas for 150.000 visitors, trenches and cable conduits for water and power supply with an overall length of 220KM, perimeter fencing and permanent hoarding walls of the festival sites, service roads, functional lighting, cleaning and waste management with a strong focus on sustainability and recycling among numerous other aspects of Site Management.
