History was made when Pope Francis visited the UAE for the first-ever visit by a pontiff to the Arabian Peninsula – the birthplace of Islam. Pope Francis wrapped up his visit by celebrating an open-air mass in front of an estimated 180 000 people inside and outside the Abu Dhabi Zayed Sport City Stadium. It was quite a challenge to turn around the venue within a very short timeframe from the final match of the AFC tournament to the stage for the Holy Mass. Together with the amazing teams of HQ Worldwide and Flash Entertainment we helped to plan and deliver this outstanding event.
