Yasalam is the largest city-wide free entertainment festival in Abu Dhabi combining motorsport activities with live music and art. During a period of 10 days, Yasalam hosts the F1 Fanzone providing F1 driver autograph sessions, simulator competitions, pit stop challenges and numerous sport activities.
At the actual F1 race weekend from the 24-26th. of November, Beats on the Beach kicked in featuring artists like Yeng Constantino, Krept and Konan, Shamma Hamdan, Sean Paul, The 5, Adham Nabulsi, Ester Eden, Nancy Ajram, Travis Scott and Big Sean.
In close cooperation with the promoter and the local authorities crowd management and traffic scenarios were developed and implemented. Egrees and ingress gates were widened and cleared of obstacles in order to handle the increased number of visitors, as well as special training for the security hold for managing large crowds. During the build phase all temporary structures and electrical installation were inspected and aligned to international safety standards.
